Tribune GIS Afrique – Asie - Moyen-Orient
Dix responsables des réseaux d’études africaines, d’Asie, du Moyen-Orient et des mondes musulmans, excédés par les multiples expériences absurdes, voire humiliantes, vécues par leurs partenaires scientifiques dénoncent une incompatibilité de plus en plus forte entre politique scientifique et politique des visas. Selon eux, le filtrage sans fin des demandes de visas s’apparente à une politique de l’inimitié.

'Nigerian Heritage Digitisation Programme'
In 2022, the Embassy of France in Nigeria and IFRA-Nigeria have been awarded funding to support efforts by Nigerian researchers and professionals, from partnered institutions, to develop their ideas and projects on the conservation of Nigerian Heritage and Patrimony.

Our Resource Center is now open, and makes available: academic litterature on Nigeria and West-Africa (new books available), a large number of grey litteratue and a digital Lab. Venue: IFRA-Nigeria, Institute of African Studies, University of Ibadan. Opening hours: Monday to Friday, 9am-4pm.

EHESS - WomAtWork project
The EHESS WomAtWork is hiring 1 Phd student to work on the project (Women at work: for a comparative history of African female urban professions 1919-1970) in Ghana.

DEA program - Call for application
Starting in 2024 the DEA program will be organized in partnership with the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales (EHESS) and will make it possible to invite foreign scientists from all continents for a period of four to six weeks in order to support their work in the field of social sciences and humanities in France.
